Position Overview
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects within the organization to ensure they align with the company's strategic goals. The role involves managing multiple project teams, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget, and that the overall program delivers value to the organization.
Essential Job Functions
Program Planning and Execution: Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and deliverables. Monitor progress and ensure successful completion of projects.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and project teams, to keep them informed of program progress, risks, and issues.
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently across projects, ensuring optimal use of team members, budget, and materials.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the program, develop mitigation strategies, and manage risks throughout the program lifecycle.
Financial Management: Oversee program budgets, forecast financial needs, and monitor spending to ensure financial objectives are met.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that the program meets quality standards and client expectations through regular monitoring and evaluation.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
Over 10 years of experience in Program Management
Ideal candidate will have experience with Non-US customers.
Ideal candidate to have experience in US Military Procurement Office - Management level
Experience: Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully managing complex and technical programs.
In-depth knowledge and experience in reading drawing packages.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as a good understanding of technical aspects of projects managed.
Working Conditions:
Typically works in an office environment with occasional travel for client meetings, project site visits, or conferences.
This role may require extended working hours to meet deadlines, particularly during critical phases of program execution.
