Job Description
We are looking for a Program Manager to support enterprise-wide initiatives, technology-driven transformation, and organizational change efforts. This position will be a full-time contract opportunity in Long Beach, CA.
This role is primarily remote, but candidates will need to be local for onsite meetings as needed.
What You'll Do
Lead Change Management Efforts
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption and minimize disruption for new systems, business processes, and organizational initiatives
Conduct change impact analyses to identify all people, process, and technology changes which will form the basis for the change management plans to support all impacted stakeholders
Assess organizational readiness and resistance to change, proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies
Create tailored stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Develop communication plans and messaging frameworks for different stakeholder groups
Work closely with department leadership, managers, and frontline staff to ensure a smooth transition during technology implementations and operational changes
Provide executive-level updates and recommendations on change adoption progress
Training & End-User Adoption Support
Design and facilitate training programs, including hands-on workshops, job aids, and knowledge transfer sessions
Ensure training materials are aligned with end-user needs, helping teams build confidence in new tools, workflows, or new ways of working
Governance & Business Process Alignment
Ensure change efforts align with existing governance structures and business processes to prevent misalignment or inefficiencies
Assist in refining policies and workflows impacted by new technology implementations or organizational changes
Strategic Program Management & HR Process Leadership
Lead program management efforts for high-priority enterprise initiatives that require cross-functional coordination
Work with HR, divisional leadership, and IM teams to define and document key organizational processes, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
Support efforts related to employee onboarding/offboarding, process standardization, and enterprise-wide operational improvements
Develop and maintain business cases, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps to support executive decision-making
Provide insights and best practices based on previous experience with enterprise systems, time recording systems, CRM platforms, ITSM tools, and cloud-based applications, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business needs
Support business teams in defining clear business requirements to ensure technology solutions are designed and implemented effectively
Project & Program Oversight
Serve as Project Manager for key initiatives where structured oversight is required and where change management or knowledge of Human Resources play a significant role
Develop governance models to track progress, risks, and decision-making across multi-stakeholder initiatives
Facilitate cross-divisional collaboration, ensuring alignment between operational, administrative, and IM teams
What You'll Need
Required
Extensive experience in change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and organizational readiness strategies
Proven ability to drive end-user adoption and business process transformation in enterprise environments
Experience in stakeholder communication, executive engagement, and cross-functional collaboration
Strong understanding of business application rollouts, including CRM, ERP, or ITSM platforms
Experience developing training programs, user guides, and adoption metrics to measure success
Ability to analyze complex business challenges and design tailored change management approaches
Experience in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences at all levels
Knowledge of enterprise business applications and software implementation methodologies
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, information technology, or a related field
Extensive experience applying change management principles and frameworks to support technology and business process transformation
Proven ability to lead complex projects and multi-stakeholder initiatives, ensuring alignment between business, operational, and IM teams
Experience with IT service management is beneficial
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and facilitation skills, with the ability to guide leadership in decision-making
Ability to navigate complex organizational environment, balancing competing priorities while driving initiatives forward
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
