Program Manager - Amazon Now Central Operations (CO), RoW APEX
About the role:
As a Program Manager, you will oversee real-time monitoring of logistics operations, ensuring smooth order fulfillment and driving efficiency improvements in the supply chain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including dark store operations, last mile delivery, tech, and customer support, to optimize operations and enhance key performance metrics.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Central Operations & Real-Time Monitoring:
- Manage and oversee real-time tracking and monitoring of dark store operations and last mile deliveries.
- Develop proactive alert mechanisms to identify bottlenecks and resolve escalations swiftly.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs for order fulfillment, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize and develop dashboards; perform analytics to monitor order flow, logistics efficiency, and manage exceptions.
Process Optimization & Performance Improvement:- Analyze delivery performance trends, including on-time delivery, failed deliveries, route optimization, and configuration changes.
- Coordinate with dark store and last mile teams to reduce delays, optimize rider allocation, and improve vehicle utilization.
- Develop and implement SOPs and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives to improve margins without compromising service levels.
Stakeholder Management & Coordination:- Collaborate with hubs, dark stores, delivery partners, and customer support teams for seamless execution.
- Coordinate with tech and product teams to improve control tower visibility, data accuracy, and predictive analytics.
- Serve as a central point of contact for escalations, ensuring quick resolution of service disruptions.
- Maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners and fleet teams to optimize delivery performance.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of program or project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Experience in roadmap strategy, process automation, workflow optimization, and logistics tech platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
- Experience with MS Access and SQL.
- Ability to gather requirements and write detailed documentation.
- Experience in quick commerce, logistics startups, or hyperlocal deliveries.
- Knowledge of geo-mapping, route optimization, and fulfillment strategies.
- Experience working with 3PL vendors and delivery fleet partners.
