Program Manager Life Safety, RN

Full time, Monday - Friday, Days


Manage operations for Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Life safety program. Works with leaders and team members to support emergency responses at DHMC.


Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the adherence to AHA standards.
  2. Coordinate with the DH Life Support manager.
  3. Oversee the Code Net Rescue system and the fleet of defibrillators.
  4. Review performance data of all Life Safety response teams and report the status to the life safety committee and senior leadership.
  5. Coordinate and train life safety emergency response teams.
  6. Chair the Life Safety Committee.
  7. Collaboration with SICU UNM and Respiratory Care manager regarding personnel for Life Safety response teams.
  8. Growth, development, and strategic planning of the life safety programs.
  9. Manage the DH emergency management system software system.
  10. Responsible for the library of Life Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Required:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of healthcare experience
  • Previous experience working in life safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and act autonomously
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple requests at once
  • Preferred:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in data abstraction or quality improvement desired
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt
  • Critical Care or Emergency Department experience

Required Licensure/Certifications

- Licensed RN with NH Eligibility - BLS upon hire - ACLS within 180 days - PALS within 180 days
