DescriptionGeneral Purpose: The Program Manager in Member Services supports the Membership Department by managing the volunteer management program, student engagement program, membership events at face-to-face conferences, the scholarships and awards program, member savings programs and new programming related to the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
Essential Functions: - Champions, manages and grows the volunteer program, including recruitment, tracking and recognition to ensure increased volunteer satisfaction and the number of volunteers.
- As the key volunteer staff liaison, coordinates volunteer opportunities throughout the Association.
- On an annual basis, facilitates the volunteer recognition program.
- Works closely with staff to utilize the volunteer portal and ensures accuracy.
- Manages Member Services programing including scholarships, awards, and various annual conference events.
- Partners with the Business Development department to promote member savings programs as they continue to grow.
- Manages the member benefits portion of the member savings programs.
- Partners with the Marketing department to identify areas of retention and acquisition opportunities and partners with cross-organizational departments to grow the program.
- Serves as point person for the student ambassador program and supports departments on outreach to new audiences and plans and oversees student engagement at key conference events.
- Works with the Marketing department to target and customize messaging to the student population And the Director of Member Engagement to identify wants and/or needs of the student members and provides access to appropriate benefits for students.
- Brainstorms and manages outreach to expanded student audiences.
- Coordinates the Career Center program website to assure content is updated frequently and appropriate for the audience.
- Works with Director of Member Engagement to manage and launch internship opportunities section.
- Tracks and reports member engagement analytics by working with cross-organizational teams to gain access to key metrics.
- Provides best in class customer-service to members and internal customers through responding to member e-mails, online chat portal and direct phone calls
- Supports other team members as needed
- Other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of the organization.

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong collaboration, social media and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, to exercise judgment, creativity and ability to meet sensitive time frames.
- Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple and prioritize projects and complete projects on time.
- Possesses strong critical thinking, customer service, problem-solving, computer and creative skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare organizations and practices.
Education: - A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field is required.
Experience: - Five (5) or more years experience working in a non-profit, for an Association focused on member services, or similar is required.
- At least one (1) year of experience coordinating and managing multiple projects is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: - Must have reliable transportation.

- Ability to operate PC/keyboard and other office productivity equipment
- Ability to position self to traverse/navigate around typical office setting
- Ability pull/push, lift, open/close, grasp/manipulate, transport up to 10 lbs.
