Position Title: Program Manager, Executive Office Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Summary: The Program Manager provides support for SSO's programs. Serves as key administrator for SSO committees, leadership, and senior SSO staff; assists with SSO policy and procedure management; fundraising; collaborates on strategic plan execution, tracking, and reporting. Works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Director, Governance & Global Programs and interfaces with other Society staff as needed to support the daily workflow and deliverables of the SSO headquarters operations (finance, technology, human resources, and benefits management); exercises creativity and innovation to facilitate efficiencies across all programs. Duties and Responsibilities Support SSO's governance program including committee administration and meeting coordination; committee charge and roster maintenance; policies and procedures maintenance; handbook updates and maintenance. Support SSO committees, as assigned. Assist with fundraising activities for SSO. Assist with collaborative initiatives with other organizations. Coordinate materials to report on strategic plan activities; maintain strategic plan project tracking systems. Assist with annual President-Elect, new Officer, Executive Council leadership, and committee member orientation programs. Assist with the administration of SSO's external liaison program. Support SSO's international programs, as needed. Support and manage other programs under the Executive Office. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. More than three years' experience working in the healthcare association industry. Proven technology skills including iMIS membership database and strong MS Office capability. Ability to learn and use other programs and technology resources including databases, internet, social media, information search and retrieval and e-mail. Demonstrated ability and willingness to work autonomously. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups. Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely with correct grammar, spelling and punctuation; verbally communicate in an accurate and effective manner. Excellent communications skills. Excellent organizational skills, with ability to respond to changing needs and priorities, shift attention among simultaneous activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
