Program Manager
General Summary: Program
Manager will provide directional project and portfolio management for approved
EPMO projects. Responsibilities will be
to act as a mentor and coach for the Business Leaders in planning, executing,
and completing projects within approved budget and target timeline and to guide
them throughout the project lifecycle to leverage and utilize the Bank's
established and industry- standard project management framework to deliver
maximum business value.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities: - Advocates industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement contributions to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, audit, legal, marketing, and customer support, to ensure cross functional communication and transparency on all Priority Business Actions (PBA).
- Provide coaching and support to PBA owners and sponsors on the Bank's project delivery framework and standards.
- Work with PBA sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that PBA objectives are clearly defined, and a clear execution plan is in place.
- Work with PBA sponsors and stakeholders to ensure all project related internal and external audit requirements are met.
- Lead PBA sponsors and stakeholders in reporting planned, actual, and projected PBA efforts.
- Lead PBA sponsors and stakeholders in creating and publishing required project artifacts.
- Centralized and consistent reporting and monitoring of the list of approved projects progress.
- Participate in Quarterly Portfolio Value Assessments with BU's.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to improve program and project management across the organization.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required: - Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a business or IT related field or equivalent training/experience required.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or other project management/Agile (Scrum) related certifications preferred.
- Five years of leadership experience managing (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) a range of small-to-large projects with all phases of the project lifecycle preferably within the financial service industry across multiple and diverse teams.
- Experience building trusted and effective relationships through cross-functional collaboration and professional communication. Utilizing those relationships to resolve conflict and informing self to make appropriate decisions.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external partners.
- Experience mentoring and training others in support of project delivery including training of new staff of various experience levels.
- Experience managing multiple projects successfully, delivering all in scope deliverables on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to accurately and independently track financial data and implications of project delivery and execution including external and internal costs. Ability to understand organizational annual planning process, the budget processes and potential implications on project team outcomes.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting project recommendations from a business perspective. Credibly communicates complex topics to stakeholders.
- Microsoft Office and portfolio and project development/management tools including but not limited to Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Project and Service Now.

Working Conditions: Requires daily
interaction with PCs and data processing software for majority of duties.
Occasionally work outside the Bank's normal business hours (i.e. weekends,
evenings or early morning) as necessary to meet project schedules.
Must be
capable of engaging work in a hybrid environment. Disciplined and
self-motivated to accomplish goals under both onsite and remote working conditions with limited supervision.
