Job Duties and Responsibilities Utilize your project and people management skills to deliver high quality projects & programs on time, on budget and with unwavering professionalism. This includes planning the project, resourcing the project with internal team members and third-party contractors or consultants, managing internal and client driven processes and procedures, project schedules, deliverables, and quality to successful completion and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, be results driven, communicate effectively, and have a high level of energy and strong organizational skills. This position will be located in Englewood, CO. The Program Manager II reports to the Manager of Program Management and is responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment and communication, tracking deliverables and project milestones for cross-functional teams, and managing overall readiness for sales initiatives. The successful candidate will be working closely with executives, product management, technical support, sales, engineering, marketing, communications, and legal teams. This role requires exceptional program & project management, organizational and communication skills, and will be key in assisting the organization realize sales OKRs. Key Responsibilities: Identify appropriate resources and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects Understand project objectives and functions of each team member to ensure success and in alignment with OKR goals and objectives Drive and manage multiple concurrent projects and programs through all 5 phases of the project lifecycle Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project Analyze current processes and procedures to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments Coach business units through analysis and documentation that includes requirements, risks, issues, project schedule and meeting agendas Help develop processes that focus on deployment efficiency, quality of customer experience and risk mitigation Coordinate and align resources for DISH Business team/individual efforts on assigned projects Identify, manage and assemble project teams responsible for the scoping, development and implementation of cross-functional initiatives and services focused on delivering new value or support to existing products & sales This role requires a flexible mindset, and adaptive skill set, and will be assigned to various portfolios during your tenure within DISH Business Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Project Management or Business Administration 2-5 years experience in project and/or program management Broad technical understanding of various operational systems in the Satellite and Streaming Television environment Extensive experience with business and project management tools, frameworks, and procedures such as but not limited to RACI, RAID, SWOT, GANTT, PMBOK, DASM, Traffic Light Dashboards etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners including senior executives Self-starter, excited to learn and develop professional talents and skills that will enable career growth opportunities within the organization Highly flexible and able to work well in pressurized situations Skills and Qualifications: Ability to leverage communication skills effectively across every level of the company, particularly with C-suite executives to build a reputation as a subject matter expert Experience facilitating technical meetings and collaborating with others to brainstorm and implement valuable solutions Project Management background required, including a working knowledge of Waterfall Project/Release Management, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is not required but preferred Proficiency with Google Suite products, Draw io, ClickUp, Jira, and ServiceNow not required but preferred Salary Ranges Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities and a flexible time away plan. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
