Responsibilities
The Office of the University Registrar is a unit within the Division of Enrollment Management, which is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions, Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management's integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the student's development and progression in their academic experience - from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families and to campus partners across the University.
Position is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, designing, and maintaining activities related to the Undergraduate and Graduate Student Success Program for the Office of the University Registrar.
Position is responsible for planning, reviewing, evaluating, designing, and maintaining activities related to the Undergraduate and Graduate Student Success Program, including student success analytic activities, that support monitoring degree progression and across academic levels university wide. Leads the coordination, departmental support, testing support, and process documentation to aid in implementing data-driven projects for the modernization of Graduation Services processes. Leverages student success analytics within the program to develop, manage, and analyze degree audit data across various systems, including customizing reports, queries, and other reporting tools for use by the Graduation Services and university community in compliance with University and State regulations.
Serves as liaison to internal and external stakeholders for federal and state compliance audits. Analyzes details of degree records transmitted to the National Student Clearinghouse each term to ensure accuracy and integrity of degree data. Reconciles audit findings to ensure compliance with federal reporting guidelines and timely submission to the National Student Loan Data System. Evaluates the adequacy of internal controls over processes by planning reviews, designing protocols to ensure successful audits. Attests to student data for graduates whose degrees or certificates were awarded outside of the University's standard degree posting period. Develops recommendations to improve the effectiveness of risk management, data control, and compliance.
Actively participates in operational meetings to gather information and understand specific needs from end-users and project goals. Partners with various stakeholders to develop, test, and track project activities. Gathers feedback, coordinates testing, and develops comprehensive documentation. Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for processes within the Undergraduate and Graduate Student Success Program. Collaborates with process owners to document workflows, procedures, and system configurations and analyze existing business processes to identify potential areas for improvement as it impacts student success.
Creates, develops, and manages outreach efforts that are aimed at informing students on degree and graduation progression. Engages with senior leadership to facilitate effective communication that utilizes student data and reporting to direct deadline driven communication campaigns. Responsible for tracking outreach efforts to ensure they align with relevant University deadlines. Serves as primary liaison to the University Registrar on the Quality Enhancement Program to address key issues emerging from institutional assessment.
Coordinates with ITS counterparts on projects related to graduation and academic services initiatives. Provides direction and leadership reflective of compliance and innovation within the Office of the University Registrar. Provides support to other sections during peak times in support of the goals of the division. Serves as a liaison with colleges, departments, ITS, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate students services. Assists in developing and maintaining partnerships throughout the University to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and six years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and ten years of similar experience. (Note: a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to ten years.)

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated starting salary range for this position is in the low to mid $60,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
