Responsibilities
  • Establishing clinical research partnerships to increase opportunities to educate and engage physicians and their patients in clinical research as well as increase the number of research training opportunities for the college's medical students.
  • Collaborating with existing research mentors and recruiting new physicians/research mentors to expand the range of medical specialty research opportunities for medical students.
  • Working with clinical partners to identify and streamlining research processes for medical students conducting research in both hospital and ambulatory settings.
  • Developing optimal strategies to continuously track medical student reach activity.
  • Providing training and guidance to medical students regarding research policies, ethics, and compliance (including IRB).
  • Supporting the Assistant Dean in coordinating, planning, evaluating, and implementing research education initiatives.
  • Analyzing and preparing reports, including those required for the college's accrediting body (LCME).
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and six years of experience in a related science or research services field; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to ten years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

A valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire. Ability to travel in the state on a regular basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipated starting salary: $85,000, commensurate with experience.
