Assist the Senior Manager with administrative operation of the Seniors' Nutrition Program, including daily provision of program services, management of participant caseload; volunteer coordination (including training, supervision and recognition) public relations, program evaluation and planning and preparation of reports; monitoring all service reports; and serving as the liaison to the coordinating units for the Seniors' Nutrition Program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in managing the Seniors' Nutrition participant caseload, initial assessments, client files and information/referral.
Provides information and clarifies services available to qualifying participants, which includes making appropriate recommendations for services available to the individual client.
Maintains and enters the daily site-logs, status reports, weekly and monthly reports for accounting.
Trains, supervises schedules and plans recognition activities for volunteers in Seniors' Nutrition Program (all in coordination with the Division Volunteer Coordinator and Senior Manager).

Assists SNP Manager with client contribution process and community outreach efforts.
Prepares all program reports, service summaries assigned by the SNP Manager
Assists in maintaining volunteer records.
Monitors the operation of the Seniors' Nutrition Program Congregate sites and works under the guidance of the SNP Senior Manager to ensure compliance with program regulations.
Predictable, consistent attendance.
Performs all other assigned duties.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Travel to dining site locations in seven counties throughout Denver Metro area is required
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25 lbs.
The noise level is usually low to moderate.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full Time
Monday - Friday (Generally 830-430 Mon, Tues, Weds, Fri. and 930-530 Thursday)
Rarely weekend hours may be required based on program events or assigned job duties.

Pay: $19.00$21.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications of Position
Associate's degree in general studies or equivalent relevant experience.
Own transportation, valid Colorado driver's license, and proof of insurance.
Preferred Qualifications of Position
Degree emphasis in Gerontology or Human Services field preferred.
Fluent in Spanish preferred
Knowledge and Skills

Possesses an ability to listen effectively and respond creatively to program participant issues.
Possesses an ability and willingness to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
