The Graduate School supports graduate students in almost every program across the Carolina campus and serves students from admission through graduation. Position Summary

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

The primary purpose of this position is to work with the Student Success Program (SSP) in The Graduate School. The Graduate School's SSP implemented several initiatives across campus for the success of the graduate student body such as Carolina Grad Student F1RSTS, Global Grads, WE RISE, Military-Affiliated Grads, Queer Grads, Carolina Graduate Caregivers, and the Summer Undergraduate Pipeline.

This position is responsible for program administration for all SS initiatives which includes organizing meetings, updating calendars, creating agendas, taking minutes for standing meetings, and ordering supplies and maintaining inventory. The program coordinator will also work with the Finance and Administration team, provide program expense receipts, invoices, and reimbursements, and reconcile monthly SS expenses. This position will also coordinate the administration of all SS post-event evaluations and compile results for review. The program coordinator will be responsible for assisting with communication efforts to ensure timely messaging to campus and students regarding SS initiatives. This responsibility includes creating and disbursing program newsletters and maintaining platforms for e-communications, creating and designing electronic event invitations, presentation posters, and conference/meeting materials.

This position will officially report to the Director of Student Success.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; WordPress, Qualtrics, Google Docs, Canva, and Zoom.

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
