Job Title:Program Assistant

Department:Academic Affairs Administration Administration

The Program Assistant provides support for many programs within the Office of Academic Affairs in coordination with the Program and Event Management team. This role involves managing financial processes for vendors, speakers, catering, supplies, and travel arrangements, as well as submitting purchase requests and coordinating payment and service contracts. Responsibilities include coordinating vendor contracts and agendas, managing event registration, responding to attendee inquiries, and providing on-site support to ensure successful event execution. The Program Assistant also take leadership in planning events in their entirety for the Office of Academic Affairs. Additionally, the position involves maintaining departmental files and records. The Program Assistant also works with the Buckeyes for Charity team to lead the university-wide employee giving campaign operations. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with staff ambassadors, providing and leading the content creation and facilitating regular trainings, and managing donor inquiries with excellent service. It also involves maintaining accurate employee data records, facilitating gift processing operations, tracking campaign expenses, and generating comprehensive reports for campaign partners.


    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree, experiencing planning events and supporting programs, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented and excellent organization skills, experience using digital platforms and software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet, and Qualtrics

    Additional Information:

    The target hiring range for this job profile is $ 19.09 - 25.10The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
