As the Program Analyst (Naval Training Systems Plan), you will be on a dynamic team supporting U.S. Navy's Team Submarine Undersea Weapons Joint Program Office to provide programmatic support to PMS 404 and support the acquisition of lightweight and heavyweight torpedoes at our Washington, D.C. location around the historic Washington Navy Yard right by Nationals Stadium. PMS 404 oversees the research, development, construction, and modernization of all undersea weapons, including those employed aboard surface ships and aircraft. You will be part of an integrated government-industry team and be an instrumental part in supporting U.S. Navy acquisitions while building your background and expertise in support of the world's greatest Navy. In this role, you will: Provide logistical, maintenance support to PMS 404L in Training System Requirements and Management Plan Validate Torpedo maintenance training Participate in the development and implementation of Naval Training System Plan (NTSP's) and Training Installation and Transfer Agreements (TITA's) Coordinate with Fleet and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) and Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMAs) to ensure training products are on schedule and meet the system requirements. Schedule Training for PMS 404 personnel. Interface with the IMA's on training issues/solutions. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: An Active or Current DOD Secret Clearance US Citizenship Bachelor's Degree An Associates Degree and 2 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree or a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. 5 years of experience in Navy Training System Planning (NTSP) from development to implementation or related/similar experience. 4 years of experience working in/on Submarines or Surface Ships or similar experience. 4 years of Maintenance and Material Management (3M) experience or similar experience. Experience with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and understanding of Navy Budget. Knowledge of OPNAVINST 3502.5B, Policy for Managing the Life Cycle Support of Submarines. Familiarity with NAVSEA 07TR. and Undersea Warfare Center Enterprise Training Support agent for Submarines A SME understanding for OPNAV 1500.76.
