Job Description

The Program Analyst supports engineering efforts by assisting in the evaluation of potential solutions, drafting technical documents, cataloging and tracking parts and supplies, and collecting and analyzing data.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluates task metrics to identify system trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develops and improves data management and collection procedures.
  • Participates in strategic planning meetings.
  • Validates data and implements quality control measures to ensure continued success.
  • Creates budgetary controls and financial management processes.
  • Analyzes procedures and systems and makes recommendations for optimization.
  • Open action item tracking and follow up with owners.
  • Identifies and resolves issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex tasks, and establish priorities.
  • Capacity to work independently without significant guidance and be able to exercise good judgment, taking the initiative when necessary.
  • Provide team members with analysis that supports informed decisions.
Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, business, management, organizational structure, computer science, statistics, or another related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
  • Be proactive and highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and has strong verbal and written skills.
  • Possesses strong professional, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Demonstrates cross-functional team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology.

Security Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level, though candidates with an active Secret are highly sought. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a standard office or conference room setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.

To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
