Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NG and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 103 (Volunteer Chapter). Responsibilities As a PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-09, review, evaluate and analyze obligations and expenditures; prepare directorate or division summaries from reports submitted by Major Subordinate Commands (MSC); summarize and interpret significant data collected and relate this data to the organizations program actions; identify and analyze deficiencies in resource consumption, training, workload and scheduling, and evaluate deviations from standards, plans, and estimates to determine cause and impact on missions; assist management in interpretation and utilization of reports and information provided. Develops various visual media to present trends, performance status, capability and related management information. Aids functional areas in identifying areas of record documentation and procedures that can be streamlined, combined or improved and initiates methods to operate under the new or revised system. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-3 through E-7 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management; knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques; experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 24 months or 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management; experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.
