Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Program Analyst III to support a government financing organization in the Washington, DC area by providing internal accounting, budgeting, and auditing support services. (This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.)
Responsibilities for the Program Analyst III include:
Respond to meeting and audit requests and accounting tasks.
Create and revise accounting forms, audit documentation, and reports.
Communicate with auditors, manage audit deliverables, and support financial statement accounting and internal controls.
Perform reconciliations, process transactions, and document financial activities.
Investigate accounting issues, develop solutions, and support risk mitigation and remediation strategies.
Provide routine and ad hoc reports, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve decision-making.
Qualifications for the Program Analyst III include:
Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field is required. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics is preferred.
Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM) certification is preferred.
5-8 years of relevant experience in the accounting and/or financial industry.
Compensation for the Program Analyst III includes:
Salary range: approximately $100,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience
