DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Program Analyst 2, you will analyze and evaluate the PCCD Violence Intervention and Prevention Grant Program to determine which established goals are being met and evaluate the impact of individual projects. You will assist in other grant programs as administered by the Office of Research, Evaluation and Strategic Policy Development, as well as the School Safety and Security Grant Program and the Nonprofit Security Grant Program. This role requires thorough understanding of legislation and the ability to analyze data to provide qualitative and quantitative recommendations used in planning and monitoring resource allocations. In addition, you will manage the funding announcement process for all assigned initiatives, conduct program analysis of juvenile justice and prevention projects, prepare comprehensive reports, and make process improvement recommendations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, working at least one day per month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements: - One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
