Job Description Intake/Waitlist Referral Program Administrator I The Utah Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) seeks an Intake and Waiting List Program Administrator Ito be responsible for administering the intake/waiting list and referral program for the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD).
Oversee and implement waiting list strategies to support the Intake and Waiting List team. Provide education and support to individuals/families waiting for DSPD services. Assist with updating internal assessments.

Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities - Coordinate waiting list program activities, services, and/or program implementation with private providers, other governmental entities, program users, etc.
- Supervise subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
- Develop, direct, and/or evaluate waiting list programs and temporary funding
- Represent the agency with federal, state, and local government units, in the media, or with private organizations.
- Provide technical assistance on agency issues, services, program(s), and/or computer hardware and software, etc.
- Assist with emergency referrals.
- Coordinate and refer services of community resources, placement providers, collateral agencies, the court, and/or other community partners with families, clients, or patients receiving services.
- Coordinate and review ESMC/emergency referrals, Needs Assessment. Questionnaire and Waitlist Surveys, Waitlist Transition, Needs Assessment Questionnaire Inter-rater reliability review, transition/community fairs.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications - Has experience working with or knowledge of the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD).
- Has experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism and/or acquired brain injury.
- Able to work at a fast pace and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Has supervisory experience.
Supplemental Information Working Conditions:
- The typical office setting for this job is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated. However, you may encounter some risks that are associated with any office setting, for example, the safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
- Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
