This role will assist with the oversight and management of the Walla Walla Survey Department and their many diversified, exciting local projects (large vineyard, renewable energy and public land survey system sites to name a few). Including but not limited to project scheduling, budgets, proposals, and business development. This position comes with high growth opportunities and the chance to evolve into the Walla Walla Survey Department Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications: Washington state registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) 3 years' experience overseeing and performing land surveys as a registered PLS Experience in office production including boundary, topographic and construction surveying Experience in business development Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D and Carlson Survey Aspiration for growth opportunities including taking on management responsibilities Ability to legally work in all PBS locations Valid driver's license PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in overseeing the Walla Walla Survey Department and projects Oversee and perform land survey and mapping functions Supervise Survey Technicians and survey field crews Plan and coordinate work of field staff Review and certify completed work to satisfy project requirements Work with PBS Clients to identify project needs and prepare scope and fee proposals Secure additional survey projects
