Professional Land Surveyor

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)to join our team. As a PLS, you will be responsible for ensuring survey plans and related documents are correct, complete, meets contractual requirements, and adheres to industry standards, as well successfully managing and executing survey projects. You will work closely with the survey team to ensure successful project execution and delivery. This position requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform field survey, as required.
  • Prepare survey proposals including estimating costs and level of effort of complex projects.
  • Integrate into current company workflow, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide survey team.
  • Review and stamp deliverables.
  • Perform research, calculations, boundary determinations.
  • Effectively manage projects.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Survey or related discipline
  • Massachusetts or Rhode Island Professional Land Surveyor; MA preferred
  • 8+ years' consulting experience (min. 5 years in Massachusetts).
  • Ability to perform field survey and experience using point clouds and photogrammetry data a plus)
  • Must have prior experience and demonstrate effective team leadership, e.g., mentor, train, motivate team for excellence in quality deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proven track record of successful project and client management and delivering on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and support reality capture projects.
