Job Title: Professional Land SurveyorJob Description Manage surveying and geospatial projects. Prepare, instruct, and coordinate the work of field staff performing surveying and geospatial services on assigned projects. Coordinate with office staff performing data processing. Understand a wide variety of technology and implement innovative solutions to client challenges. Cultivate and develop client relationships throughout the local area and beyond. Responsibilities Serve as client point of contact and prepare client deliverables, including legal descriptions, courthouse research, boundary resolutions, management of field crews, drafting plats, boundary descriptions, and cost estimates for project proposals. Conduct site assessments and field visits as needed. Effectively work both in the field and in the office, adapting to the demands of each environment. Essential Skills Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation. Knowledge of surveying, drafting, boundary resolution, courthouse research, processing field work, and process scheduling. Understanding of PLS, ALTA, NSPS, topographic surveys, construction layout, GIS, topography, drafting plats, and land development. Additional Skills & Qualifications Professional Land Surveyor License Preferred OR a Surveyor-In-Training pursuing a PLS. 2-4 years of land surveying experience. Work Environment The work is divided equally between office and field work. The dress code is pants and a collared shirt. The team in the Peoria location consists of 6 staff members. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
