LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Products Liability Litigation Paralegal for our client in Plano, TX. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a law firm, managing the full life-cycle of litigation for products liability cases.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with attorneys on product liability, warranty, franchise and distribution law litigation, and other complex business disputes in a variety of industries
- Experienced in case preparation from start to finish, with a thorough understanding of a paralegal's role in the litigation life cycle, particularly in product liability litigation
- Maintain and monitor court deadlines for assigned cases and take ownership of case calendars
- Electronically file documents with the court through the ECF system under attorney supervision
- Perform online legal research using PACER
- Draft pleadings, notices, and motions
- Prepare deposition notices and organize, maintain and prepare deposition materials, exhibits and summaries
- Track and manage discovery, including document productions
- Participate in case strategy meetings
- Prepare for and attend trials
- Handle routine calls and correspondence to courts, outside attorneys, and clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of products liability litigation experience in a law firm setting required
- Trial experience required
- 2-year or 4-year degree and a paralegal certificate (however, work experience may be substituted for education)
- Conduct legal research using various research tools, including Westlaw
