This is a fantastic opportunity to work with experienced attorneys on high-stakes product liability cases in an engaging and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in product liability litigation, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a strong attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for and managing product liability litigation cases, including drafting and revising pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and industry standards as related to product liability claims.
  • Prepare and organize case files, including maintaining exhibits, documents, and electronic discovery.
  • Review and analyze evidence, including medical records, accident reports, and product-related documents.
  • Coordinate and manage discovery, including gathering and organizing documents, preparing privilege logs, and handling deposition preparation.
  • Assist with the preparation for trials, including organizing trial exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating logistics.
  • Prepare and file court documents in accordance with local rules and deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to coordinate case-related information and communications.
  • Maintain case calendars to ensure deadlines are met for filing and discovery.
  • Monitor and track case developments and communicate updates to attorneys.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Product Liability Litigation experience.
  • Experience with trial preparation, discovery, and managing case files.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, including e-filing and document management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients, witnesses, and team members.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage cases and deadlines.
