Position SummaryAs a Production Technician in CBN Secure Technologies Inc. (CBN STI)'s Plant Operations group, you will be responsible for operating, optimizing, and maintaining leading edge production equipment (laser engravers, automated inspection systems, etc.) that are used to produce various secure polycarbonate documents (e.g., Virginia's Driver Licenses and Identification (DL/ID) cards, passport data pages, etc.)

What You Will Do- Operate (configure, calibrate, optimize) laser engraving and vision systems;
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system equipment issues;
- Document and communicate all adjustments made to the production systems;
- Perform maintenance in accordance with established preventative maintenance schedules;
- Identify system improvements that will improve operational efficiency and/or quality; and
- Various other duties and responsibilities.
QualificationsKnowledge and Experience
- College diploma or equivalent related experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Manufacturing, engineering, electro-mechanics, mechatronics, automation, robotics, etc.
- Familiarity with quality management principles, practices and tools
- Familiarity with/ability to read electrical schematics
Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer literacy
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Troubleshooting skills
- Organization/time management skills
- Ability to work on your feet for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
Mandatory Requirements- Ability to work a variety of shifts
