Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Emphasizes and ensures safe work environment
- Possesses in-depth knowledge and skills for manufacturing processes
- Excellent written, listening, and communication skills
- Proficient with use of production and quality software applications including MRP programs
- Supervises production personnel engaged in all facets of the production functions
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through production schedules
- Responsible for employee supervision including training, performance, discipline, etc.
Requirements:
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems and determine a course of action
- Fosters a team environment by the ability to influence others within the department
- Can prioritize the work and coordinate with other department Supervisors
- Supports complex customer needs/requests
- Exhibits a sense of urgency to get the job done
- Understands, responds and supports fostering good employee relationships
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Associate Degree preferred
- 3-5+ years' experience in the following areas: supervision or lead responsibilities; applicable manufacturing practices; process improvement; problem solving techniques
