A well-established manufacturing company in the Minneapolis area is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced production environment. This individual will play a key role in supervising and coordinating the work of production staff, ensuring product quality, safety, and workflow efficiency in alignment with operational goals. This is a full-time, onsite position with competitive pay and growth potential.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM (occasional Fridays)

Wage: $85,000
Responsibilities:
•   Supervise production and operating personnel such as machine operators, assemblers, material handlers, and other departments.
•   Review production schedules and assign tasks to meet cost, quality, and output expectations.
•   Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are strictly followed.
•   Coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment repairs as needed.
•   Monitor inventory levels and oversee usage of raw materials per Bill of Materials (BOM).
•   Conduct routine quality checks and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•   Train and cross-train team members to maintain flexibility and coverage.
•   Lead performance reviews, assist with hiring and onboarding, and help resolve personnel issues.
•   Track and report on production metrics including efficiency, downtime, and yields.
•   Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, cost savings, and production flow. Qualifications:
•   3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required.
•   Proven ability to manage teams and meet daily production targets.
•   Familiarity with manufacturing best practices, including safety, quality control, and inventory systems.
•   Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•   Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with production tracking systems and SAP a plus.
•   Demonstrated commitment to workplace integrity, teamwork, and punctuality. Ideal Candidate Will Have:
