We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift operations in the Manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization, where you will play a significant role in driving our production operations to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety, SQF, meat processing, protein processing, production management, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles. Responsibilities:

As a Production Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of our 2nd shift production team to ensure all safety, quality, and production goals are met.
2. Implementing and maintaining SQF and food safety standards throughout the production process.
3. Supervising and coordinating all activities related to meat and protein processing.
4. Applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
5. Training, coaching, and developing production team members to achieve their full potential and meet performance expectations.
6. Collaborating with other departments to resolve production issues and improve overall plant performance.
7. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
8. Implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and capacity.
9. Developing and maintaining a safe and positive work environment that fosters team spirit and high morale.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with food safety, SQF, meat processing, protein processing, production management, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. The ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
8. Proficiency in using various computer software and systems related to manufacturing operations.
9. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
