Job Description

Ōnin Staffing is actively hiring a Production Supervisor to lead and support individuals with disabilities in a vocational setting while ensuring production goals and quality standards are consistently met. This role is ideal for a compassionate, hands-on leader who values teamwork, safety, and meaningful impact.

  • Direct Hire position.
  • Pay rate: $40k - 52.5k/yr.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:15am to 4:15pm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Train and guide individuals with disabilities, modeling appropriate work habits and behaviors while completing production tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper use and care of tools and equipment.
  • Set up workstations and schedules to promote productivity and engagement.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures; provide equipment and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators to support vocational and behavioral goals.
  • Coach individuals on work methods and techniques to enhance skill development.
  • Conduct performance ratings based on quantity and 100% quality of work.
  • Approve timesheets and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Handle paperwork for production, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure output meets required standards.
  • Assist in the management of hazardous materials following all safety regulations.
  • Interpret job orders, specifications, and shipping/receiving slips.
  • Complete documentation as required for Medicaid-qualified individuals.
  • Participate in staff training and emergency response procedures if NCI-certified.


Work Experience

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional training preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industry, trades, business, or supervisory roles.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is a strong plus.
  • Strong math, proofreading, and record-checking skills.
  • Understanding of basic behavior modification techniques.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality standards and rights of individuals with disabilities.
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs., bend, kneel, stoop, and walk regularly.
  • Fluency in English and reliable transportation.
