Position Summary
As a Production Supervisor in our Plant Operations group, you will work in a clean room environment where you will be responsible for supervising production activities and team members and ultimately ensuring that all products (driver license and identification cards, polycarbonate data pages) are manufactured in a timely manner and according to established security and quality standards.

What You Will Do
- Supervise production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality standards and security requirements, including product integrity and production order documentation;
- Determine manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules and set daily assignments,
- Set employee schedules in coordination with the Production Manager and coordinate staff on shift to meet production demands;
- Liaise with Production Manager and Value Stream Teams to make quality decisions and resolve daily production issues;
- Maintain continuity between work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs;
- Oversee the final step in the production process which includes reconciliation, balancing of all records, and mailing out of completed records;
- Conduct production data analysis and generate daily/weekly/monthly management reports pertaining to departmental activities;
- Analyze services level trends and make recommendations about production flow and/or methods that will improve performance/efficiency to the Production Manager;
- Train new and existing personnel on production equipment;
- Implement departmental safety programs to ensure safety of employees working in the area; and
- Various other duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- College diploma or certification in manufacturing related field/supply chain management/inventory management or equivalent education and relevant work experience;
- 1+ year of experience in a high-volume print or manufacturing environment;
- 1+ year of supervisory experience;
- Knowledge and experience with any of the following will be considered an asset:
- Manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Lean, 6 Sigma, 5 Whys, 5S, etc.)
- Supply chain and/or inventory management
- ISO standards (e.g. 9001, 14298, 27001, etc.)
- Occupational Health and Safety standards.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in MS 365 (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent organization/time management/prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Attention to detail
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Must be legally eligible to work in the USA
- Must be able to work all shifts (days, afternoons, nights)
- Must be able to work overtime hours as required (weekdays and weekends)
- Must be able to travel internationally for training
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
