Our client is a leading medical device supplier, supplying to major healthcare organisations across the UK. They are market leaders looking to onboard new employees to bring fresh ideas to the team. They seek a Production Supervisor from a background in medical clothing.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day of production floor staff
- Working amongst CNC Cutting Machines, Sewing Machines, and Grinding Wheels
- Shop floor based, getting involved in day-to-day activities and ensuring smooth production
- Focus on KPIs and ensure alignment with company expectations
- Produce and maintain documentation on production, quality, and health and safety
- Uphold ISO13485 standards
- Focus on Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensuring training and development of staff
- Reporting directly to the Operations Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Medical clothing background
- IOSH certified
- Management/supervisory experience
- Hands-on background, understanding how machinery works
- Strong H&S background implementing safe procedures
