Job Summary:

Leading mens' apparel company is looking for a Production Specialist to manage purchase orders, vendor communication, and ERP data to ensure seamless product lifecycle operations. This role oversees WIP tracking, costing updates, invoice reconciliation, packaging compliance, and reporting, including KPI tracking and ad hoc analysis. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production and delivery.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Place purchase orders (POs) accurately and on time, making revisions as necessary, and ensuring timely receipt by suppliers.
  • Manage packing materials, and labels guide to ensure all products are packaged correctly for all customers.
  • Maintain and manage the Style Master in the ERP system, including new style set ups, maintain data integrity.
  • Address shipped goods shortages/overages with Planning to minimize impact on production.
  • Participate in invoice resolution and supplier account reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and execution of POs.
  • Support special projects related to vendor purchasing in coordination with the Production Manager.
  • Review and manage Work In Progress (WIP) of all vendors, actively monitoring PO status.
  • Check all incoming POs for correct Landed Duty Paid (LDP) costs and update Full Circle by warehouse.
  • Provide basic factory support and answer questions as required.
  • Daily update of Metabase missing costing.
  • Manage Value-Added Service (VAS) files and order RFIDs & packaging materials.
  • Send weekly in-transit files to internal teams
  • Attend and recap weekly factory meetings, providing production summary reports to factories.
  • Update & manage the Standard Cost Calculator.
  • Track late POs for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
  • Send necessary documents such as 832 to ensure Pos are received properly.
  • Manage sample requests/tracking.
  • Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Update/ split Pos as EDIs/ customer Pos are received
  • Set up ID on Finance file
  • Generate ad hoc reports as needed
  • Communicate with Planning on Po status/ lateness/ shortages
  • Send 943 when invoices are submitted from the factories
  • Set up prepack style master in FC

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing/production in apparel companies.
  • Must have experience of production with Walmart & Target and knowledgeable in packing & shipping requirements
  • Excellent organization skills & strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with overseas vendors & internal cross-functional teams
  • Have a minimum 2 years of ERP experience
  • Intermediate to advance Excel Skills (V-Lookups, Formulas, Pivot tables, Sumif etc)
  • Must be highly motivated, adaptable, flexible, with strong analytical skills, in a self-starter in a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Educational experience to include bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • Must be a team player & possess a positive attitude
  • Centric PLM experience a plus
