Production Planner to join our dynamic aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you'll help ensure materials and production flow smoothly-supporting critical maintenance, repair, and manufacturing operations for cutting-edge projects.
What You'll Be Doing: - Coordinate and manage MRO materials-including pulling kits, putting away parts, and fulfilling requests.
- Use forecasting tools to help anticipate material needs and optimize availability.
- Keep material master data up to date for smooth tracking and traceability.
- Release and manage work orders from start to finish to keep production moving on schedule.
- Provide support to the Original Equipment Planner when needed-collaborative, cross-functional teamwork is key here.
- Assist with resolving issues related to non-conforming materials, documentation, and repairs.
What You Bring to the Table: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering-or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 1-2 years in a supply chain, planning, or production role.
- Familiarity with MRP systems like SAP or Oracle (a must).
- Comfortable working with Bill of Materials (BoMs) and production routing.
- Experience with inventory management strategies like ABC analysis, cycle counting, and demand forecasting.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills-you're clear, concise, and a good team player.
- A knack for problem-solving and staying organized in a fast-moving environment.
- Bonus points if you know Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
