Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and production status.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and production planning software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar credentials.
