Production Manager

BASIC FUNCTION:
The individual in this position manages all aspects of Production and Purchasing. Responsible for managing and scheduling the production and purchasing functions, including facility and workforce in order to complete projects on-time and within budget. Deals with customers, departments within the Company,
and employees. Personnel in this position follow general guidelines and are expected to establish and administer procedures necessary to perform the tasks required to achieve Company goals of improved product quality, cost control, on-time delivery, and Customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and manage the system(s) and personnel necessary to meet Production goals.
Establish and maintain Production schedules.
Enter data as required in the Company's MIS.

LIAISON:
Works with sales and marketing, engineering, and customer service to assure that expectations and schedules are met.
Supervision of Purchasing / Production Assistant.
Supervision of Production personnel (direct employee(s) and contractors).

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a degree in engineering or business administration and/or experience sufficient to demonstrate equivalent capability. A minimum of 5 years experience in a related position is required.
