Production Lead

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Night Shift Production Lead
• Pay Rate Range: $23-28/Hour
• Location: Golden Valley, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 5PM-3:30AM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire Night Shift Production Lead Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Provides constructive feedback for employees.
2. Oversee employee schedules and assignments.
3. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
4. Overseas and supports employees to hit production goals/standards.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
7. Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the manufacturing process.
8. Ability to set goals and communicate them to others.
9. Ability to motivate and organize teams to accomplish goals.
10. Knowledge of cost accounting and operational cost capturing a plus
11. SAP B1 experience a plus
12. Proficient Microsoft Excel Skills
13. Proficient Microsoft Word/Outlook skills
14. Performs well in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
15. Problem-solves by anticipating and handling problems appropriately
16. 3-5 years of experience in operations or supply chain preferred
17. Ability to lift 40lbs

Night Shift Production Lead Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Proactively work with Dayside Supervisors, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Purchasing to drive and sustain excellent service.
2. Oversee the manufacturing of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
3. Reviews production reports to determine what jobs need to be run.
4. Ensures a healthy and safe working environment.
5. Provides Director of Production with updates and shift needs.
6. Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
7. Organizes structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
