The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a career in Engineering and opportunity to grow and develop.
We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join a dynamic and technical team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering or studied at Degree level.
Working within a team, you will offer support to the manufacturing shop floor offering solutions.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes.
- Identify efficiency improvements.
- Support the design transfer process.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and FDA regulations.
- Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
- Work closely with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with medical device regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and performance optimisation of assembly, welding, and testing equipment.
- Assist in integrating automation solutions to enhance production throughput.
- Train and support production teams on new processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Assist other members of the Engineering staff with design reviews to ensure 'design for manufacture' principles are followed.
- Provide technical expertise for new product introduction and process validation.
Skills and Attributes required:
- Engineering HNC.
- A degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or design-based engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
- Technically aware and keen to learn new skills.
- Ability to make sound judgements.
- Able to work both as part of a team and alone.
- Good organisational skills.
- Experience in CAD (AutoDesk Inventor or similar).
The Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Friday 7.30am - 12.15pm
