Role Purpose Statement The Production Control Specialist plays a vital role in our food logistics management team. You will ensure smooth daily operations and maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols. This position demands strong database management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. ideal candidates will exhibit critical thinking capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.
Main Accountabilities - Monitor airport activity for aircraft changes, cancellations, and delays.
- Create and maintain production paperwork for the department.
- Verify daily operational data and update relevant databases as necessary.
- Run daily reports and provide updated production information to Operations.
- Communicate time-sensitive requests and changes to airline customers.
- Document communications and ensure that all paperwork reaches Operations.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-3 years of administrative experience
• Familiarity with airline-specific database systems (i.e., LINK, CBASE, ACE)
• Strong sense of urgency and effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with great attention to detail in a high-stress environment
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage and lead diverse workgroups
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
