Food Safety Role & Responsibility:
As an individual, the incumbent must understand the Food Safety Statement, complete the
required training, perform work assignments in accordance with training and display an
acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training
requirements. Areas of food safety training will include, but are not limited to, GMP, HACCP,
Food Safety and Quality Statement, FSSC 22000/Global Food Safety Policy/Food Safety Goals,
Visitor/Food/Site Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Blood borne Pathogens. The individual
must also request additional and/or refresher training if he or she feels that it is needed to
effectively perform requirements in specific areas of responsibility.
Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the Production
department.
Job Function Statements - Essential Functions:
A Production Clerk is expected to perform the following essential job functions:
1. Manage Temporary Labor Force: placing temp orders with Human Resources, maintain backup timekeeping documentation, communication between Human Resources and production
management.
2. Input of production data into Micro Strategy database and any other requested reporting.
3. Maintaining and updating communication board.
4. Facilitate and participate with necessary training of production employees and maintain
training records.
5. Assist department managers with reports for back tracking and forward tracking.
6. Maintain Paid Time Off schedule for union employees.
7. Maintain production labor matrix.
8. Coordinate daily production personnel schedule.
9. Provide complete premise (Headcount) communication.
10. Log Employee attendance plus issue attendance forms to HR.
11. Review employee time punches and issue Time Card Corrections (TCC) forms to HR.
12. Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for production department
