Job Title: Production Assistant (First Shift)
Location: Suamico, Wisconsin
Compensation: $25/hour ($50,000 annually)
Shift: First Shift (Full-Time) Join our client's growing team as a Production Assistant , where you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position supporting order flow, production coordination, and customer communications, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Order Management: Monitor and track current orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Shipping & Receiving (Backup): Support incoming and outgoing shipments, confirm accuracy, and assist with logistics as needed.
• Sample Creation & Follow-Up: Create simple product samples and manage the approval process to align with customer expectations.
• Production Coordination: Communicate job priorities to the production floor, troubleshoot workflow issues, and identify problem areas.
• Inventory & Job Tracking: Maintain oversight of inventory levels and job-specific materials, collaborating with procurement when necessary.
• Customer Service: Provide job status updates and coordinate with customers to maintain transparency and satisfaction. What We're Looking For:
• Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and the ability to troubleshoot production or inventory challenges.
• Multitasking: Skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in digital tools including order tracking systems, inventory software, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Organization & Communication: Ability to clearly communicate with both internal teams and customers. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
• Sewing Experience: Understanding of sewing equipment and techniques.
• Upholstery Background: Familiarity with upholstery tools and methods.
