The Arts Ministries Bureau has an opening for a full-time Production Administrator. The primary purpose of this position is to support the Arts Ministries Bureau ministries through administrative planning as well as social media.
Based in West Nyack, NY this position requires approximately 35 hours of work per week and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- With a specialized understanding of Arts Ministries available productions, ministries, events, workshops, speaking and skill sets, the Production Administrator will book engagements/projects/events internally and in the field. They will develop relationships with THQ partners, corps, divisional and territorial arts leaders to understand the needs and interests of the inviting group, and ensure the best use of Arts Ministries time. The Production Administrator will maintain the Arts Ministries bookings calendar, learning about each host's needs/interests and developing a comprehensive experience for both the host and traveling party. This includes: customized workshops, speaking points, development of technical riders and briefs, including booking hotels/flights etc (Ex. RePlay, Skeleton Army etc.).
- With a focus on logistics, the Production Administrator will assist with the development of detailed tech sheets for engagements/projects/events, requiring independent and creative problem-solving skills and specialized knowledge of theatre/dance terminology, technical needs (audio/screen content/lighting) and program flow. The Production Administrator will travel with Arts Ministries productions and engagements as needed, acting as logistical coordinator and social media content creator. (ex. Star Search, RePlay, Skeleton Army, WAC, Commissioning, Jesus Theatre, Old Orchard Beach Pier Fest, Joy etc.) Estimated travel time of 1-2 weekends per month.
- With the knowledge of optimal posting times/trends and targeting communities specific to each platform the Production Administrator will develop social media campaigns as assigned. This includes the use of Canva and CapCut (or similar editing platforms) to create, edit, schedule and publish social media campaigns for AM events, initiatives and productions, acting as the public-facing voice of Arts Ministries on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SAconnects etc. On behalf of the Bureau, the Production Administrator will facilitate online conversations to cultivate engagement in the AM social media community.
- Assisting the Arts Ministries Director as needed, day-to day office work as it relates to production/events/engagements would also consist of: TSAMM maintenance, billing/invoices, management of event databases, procuring production materials (costumes/props etc.), drafting correspondence on behalf of the Arts Ministries Director and tracking participant approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Social Media: CapCut, Canva (or similar platforms), comprehensive knowledge of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and web analytics etc.
- Special Skills: Extensive knowledge of theatre and dance terminology. Hands-on experience developing theatre tech sheets, riders and briefs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valad drivers license.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office/Teams/Outlook & Excel.
- Christian or Salvationist preferred.
