JOB SUMMARY The
Product Support Specialist is responsible for providing in depth product knowledge and product commercialization support to various internal product and sales teams.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Act as first point of contact to respond or triage requests in to inbox
Work collaboratively with the Product Management team to ensure that all incoming customer/sales requests are reviewed and resolved or passed on to the appropriate group.
Accurately cross-reference and/or research external brands to identify corresponding Medline products.
Resolve customer and sales inquiries and challenges, while collaborating with more senior level employees on more complex problems/crosses.
Access gaps in product offerings and work with the relevant product manager to set-up new items (PCNC) for the Canadian market.
Compete setup process for new vendors by working cross-functionally with Accounts Payable and vendors; including both sourcing (PIR) changes for existing items, and vendors created for new items
Process product discontinuations alongside Product Managers, including: providing alternate product options, notifying the sales teams and customers of the change and product differences
Provide ad hoc administrative support and respond to sales rep questions as needed.
