Do you have a proven track record of delivering expert levels of technical support to scientists or highly technical professionals working within R&D, laboratories and manufacturing?

Working for this successful, innovative and creative company, your key responsibilities will include;

  • Providing technical support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Offering expert guidance on the setup, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Analysing customer requirements and recommending appropriate products and solutions based on their chemistry-related needs.
  • Delivering product training.
  • Collaborating with the sales and engineering teams to address technical challenges and improve product capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Biotechnology or similar science related areas.
  • Prior experience in a technical support, laboratory technician, or similar role would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and clear manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Comfortable working with laboratory instruments, and familiarity with laboratory practices and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and highly organised.
  • Client focussed and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • A keen interest and enthusiasm for chemistry and laboratory technology.
