Support Desk Specialist
Support Desk Specialist to provide direct support to Financial Advisors, Service Professionals, and Private Bankers. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of SBL products and services and offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert.
The specialist will collaborate across key internal functions including Sales, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Credit, and will contribute insights to product management teams to enhance offerings. The position involves supporting both bank and broker-dealer SBL products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver best-in-class service and support to Private Bankers, Financial Advisors, and Service Professionals.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and internal stakeholders to ensure proper escalation of complex transactions.
- Prepare and issue Bank Reference Letters and Letters of Intent as requested.
- Review and approve Powers of Attorney on client SBL accounts.
- Create and deliver SBL training content and presentations to Sales teams.
- Provide feedback to product managers on potential product and service improvements.
- Analyze data to identify business trends and prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
- Support projects and management reporting, including detailed performance and strategy presentations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Lending Advisors or leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking or finance industry.
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in customer support and/or operations.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional client service focus.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to frame private banking transactions effectively.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Access, or SharePoint is a plus.
