Product Specialist for a
Contract job with a client in
San Francisco, CA(Hybrid) . The Product Specialist in Cyber Security will manage ticket queues, ensuring accurate routing and timely follow-up with customers and vendors.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Product Specialist job responsibilities include: - Gather and analyze ticket information, route issues to the correct team, and follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor and report on service metrics (SLA, OLA, KPI) in Remedy, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
- Review server logs for errors, troubleshoot complex issues, and follow up with vendor tickets for resolution.
- Identify opportunities for eliminating repetitive work and recommend infrastructure consolidation or retirement.
- Perform server administration tasks, including patching, OS upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Leverage cybersecurity toolsets to support proactive monitoring and security measures.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in server administration, cybersecurity, or IT support.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools, patching, and OS upgrades.
- Proficiency in scripting and troubleshooting, with experience using Remedy for ticketing and performance tracking.
