Job Title: Product AssociateReporting Structure: Reports to Product Manager
Contract to Hire- Paying mid 60K when perm
Hourly Rate- mid to high 20's
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct commercial analyses of new product ideas, emphasizing competitive and scenario analysis along with key market considerations.
- Coordinate new product project approvals with divisional management.
- Prepare sales reports and analyze monthly category line progress.
- Collaborate with potential suppliers to evaluate initial product feasibility.
- Develop and coordinate field studies for testing new products.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, managing complaints and product specifications from initiation to resolution within defined product categories.
- Interact with vendors and cross-functional teams to address and prevent future complaints.
- Develop materials for sales representatives and facilitate end-user training.
- Support all aspects of product management plans to achieve financial goals and product line strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, purchasing, logistics, and affiliate companies to manage product development and launch processes post-approval.
- Manage ERP (SAP) inputs and outputs for new product creation and the removal of discontinued products.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement marketing strategies, enhance solutions, and increase market share.
- Process items for launch or deletion through the ERP system.
- Request and manage IP numbers.
- Review and update marketing materials for assigned product categories.
- Approve or block items for sale.
- Coordinate sample distributions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook) and SAP.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in product or marketing roles is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP software is an advantage.
Physical Requirements: - Office-based position located in Ramsey, NJ.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST (includes a one-hour unpaid lunch).
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
