Job Title: Product Safety Specialist-

Duration: 12 months

Location: Lake Forest, Illinois 60045

Pay Range: 38$-40$/hr

Job Description:

Duties: work collaboratively with a team of product safety specialists to assess global hazard communication requirements through internal processes and author Safety Data Sheets (SDS), review and approve product labeling, and perform risk analysis. Experience: 3 years - Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry; other similar/ related manufacturing background will be considered fresh grads need not apply.

Key Skills: Strong knowledge of hazard communication regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, GHS, CLP, REACH), and Dangerous Goods classification; Proficiency in using hazard communication management software and tools

Preferred Experience: Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry; Experience with both OSHA and REACH a plus along with conducting hazard assessments

Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
