Job Summary Responsible for establishing and generating agent relationships and providing superior service to agents within their territory, specifically supporting our final expense product line.
Primary Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all specified complimentary ancillary products and basic knowledge of each product's strengths and weaknesses and/or ability to research and access resources which will provide this information.
- Basic understanding of Medicare Parts A, B and C and how each complimentary product line pairs with current Medicare plans
- Develop agent relationships.
- Provide support to and continue to develop relationships with agents successfully recruited to Ritter by the National Sales Team, Agency Team and Field Reps.
- Attend sales events, trade shows and road shows
- Hit benchmark of agent touchpoints to develop relationships
- Provide information on strong products in the agent's area.
- Work all agent referrals and service requests as received.
- Follow contact process with leads to include emails, calls, and mailers assist agents with detailed product information as requested by the National Sales Representatives
- Conducts outreach at designated times during the agents first 90 days of being contracted to help facilitate the initial product sale.
- Develop and present marketing content and copy to be used by the National Sales Team for the recruitment of agents to appoint with ancillary products, including but not limited to agent training webinars, product promotional videos, newsletters, e-mail campaigns and annual Ritter Summits.
- Identify and provide service and support to existing agents.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Primary Skills & Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, sales, or business preferred.
- Life and health insurance license preferred.
- Basic understanding of insurance and agent relationship.
- Sales experience / knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Minimal travel required.
