Job Description Resideo's Products & Solutions business is currently seeking a Product Specialist II to support our security product portfolio. The Product Specialist will play a key role in contributing to product performance analysis, assisting in product lifecycle management, and supporting NPI activities. This role will provide technical expertise supporting cross functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and customer support, and ensure customer satisfaction through product demonstrations, issue resolution, and feedback collection.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Management for Security.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist in resolving customer issues and inquiries by collaborating with technical support and engineering teams.
- Support sales teams with technical expertise, helping to address customer needs and product-related questions.
- Assist in defect analysis by collaborating with engineering and quality teams to identify root causes and drive product improvements.
- Provide detailed product information and demonstrations to customers, ensuring they understand product capabilities and value.
- Execute product sunset and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective market launches.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and enhance user experience.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify trends and areas for optimization.
- Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to align product initiatives with business goals.
- Support trade shows by providing product expertise and engaging with customers and industry professionals.
- Conduct research and asses competitive solution by providing insights on emerging sensing and wireless technologies.
MUST-HAVES:
- 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as Product, Engineering, or Business Strategy (a combination of relevant experience is preferred).
- 1+ years of experience with New Product Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret product data and customer feedback.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
