Product PR Manager
A high-impact opportunity for a strategic Product PR Manager to lead earned media efforts across high-profile consumer offerings-including a mobile app, membership program, AI-powered tools, and experiences marketplace. The position bridges product, marketing, and PR functions, developing narratives that drive meaningful media coverage and shape public perception of innovative tech-driven products.
This remote role offers flexible work arrangements but it is not 100% remote. The new hire will need to attend a meeting once per month in the NYC office so only tri-state area candidates will be considered.
Pay is $60.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership teams to identify and develop compelling stories
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and strategic briefing documents
- Lead planning and execution of public relations campaigns for major product launches
- Manage media outreach and maintain strong relationships with tech, lifestyle, and business journalists
- Represent the brand to media and influencers, working independently with minimal oversight
- Contribute to global communications strategy and cross-functional coordination with external agencies
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in consumer-facing tech or product PR, with at least 1 year in-house
- Strong record of successful product PR campaigns (e.g., app launches, membership offerings, AI integrations)
- Established media relationships with U.S.-based tech, business, and lifestyle outlets
- Proven ability to operate independently and strategically within complex organizational settings
- Excellent writing and editorial skills - writing samples or assessments may be requested
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience with AI or emerging technology communications
- Background in travel, hospitality, or lifestyle PR
- Experience collaborating with global teams and managing agency partnerships
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
